An elegant blue cheese that is hand-dipped in black wax and then cold-ripened for 8 weeks. You will see the holes in the wax through which the mould was introduced.

The secret to Grand Noir quality is the milk and the careful affinage of this unique cheese. Grand Noir is made using fresh milk from regional farms in Germany’s southern Alpine region of Bavaria.
Grand Noir cheese has a distinct flavour, sweet and sharp, its texture is lusciously creamy and the cream colour of the cheese is a beautiful contrast with the black wax rind.
